Connecting an HDTV to a receiver is as easy as hooking your satellite TV receiver box to your standard television set. The following are the quick and easy steps in attaching your satellite TV receiver to your HDTV.

1. Check the series of input jacks for AV cables which is usually white and red for audio and yellow for video at the back of the HDTV. Check also the HDMI input jacks. If there is no HDMI input jacks, see step number 3.
2. Attach the HDMI cable connector from your satellite receiver to your HDTV HDMI input jack.
3. If HDMI is not available, connect the video cable from the video output jack of your satellite receiver to your HDTV video input jack.
4. Now, connect the audio cables from the audio output jacks of your satellite receiver to your HDTV audio input jacks
