Satellite TV Comparison: Hockey Sports Packages
Both Dish Network and Direct TV offer NHL Center Ice in their premium sports package for hockey. Avid followers of the game can get all of the match-up games they want in high definition formats of up to 40 exciting games every week from either Dish Network or DirecTV.
However, Direct TV has a juicier deal, with NHL Network in its satellite TV package so viewers can get all the live games, plus daily highlights and up-to-the minute hockey news.
Dish Network, on the other hand, claims the cheaper route with its local sports networks already offering other sports channels in baseball, basketball and of course, hockey in 100% high def channels. That’s $19.95 for the pay per night or only two payments of $39.95 if subscribers want to get their Race for the Cup package.
Which gives the better offer? You be the judge.
