Sports fanatics of all ages just couldn’t get enough of the latest football and basketball games. Whether it’s watching live NFL or college football leagues, getting a Satellite TV with HD programming just seems to be the right thing to do.

Sports-oriented channels such as Mountain West Sports Network (Mtn) Channels and the Versus Channel support avid sports fanatics in their daily dose of sports pill.  They broadcast the latest games on BYU sports with its intense football matches and basketball games; and sports events such as the Utah and the BYU Cougars Holy Wars.  Sports fans would not want to leave their seats.

The good news is that it’s easier now to get sports packages from Satellite TV providers.  Dish Network and Direct TV, the two largest Satellite providers in the US, carry a wide range of sport channels, from the NFL and College Football leagues, MLB, to the NBA.  They simply give viewers more reason to enhance TV viewing. 

Dish Network (in its American Top 250 and Everything Pak package) carries Versus Channel* which provides viewers with the in-depth coverage of exclusive live events and original programming of premium sports games.  On the other hand, BYU and other sports fans can follow their favorite players in the MTN Channel that Direct TV carries in its Direct TV Sports Pack.

*Versus is currently not available with Direct TV due to some pricing issues with Comcast, the owner of Versus.  Negotiations are ongoing.
