With so many HD channels already in your plate, you’d think that Dish Network would have the sympathy of easing up with the offers and let the customers do some catching up. Nevertheless, reception for every new HD channel has always been warm, and this will be no exception.

The newest channels in HD are:

• BBC America HD
• Fox Soccer Channel HD
• E! Entertainment Television HD
• Hallmark HD
• Indieplex HD
• Retroplex HD
• Showtime West HD
• Sportsman Channel HD
• TRU-TV HD

These new HD channels are broadcast via new birds located at 72.7 and 129 that might, depending on the location, require the newer Dish 1000.4 to see. So if you’re a legacy customer with dishes pointed at 119, 110 and 61.5, you’d be pretty much a hardcore to go installing a new dish on your roof with winter still in full swing.

Solution? Don’t do the installation yourself. Even if the UPS truck could manage to carve a path to your house, you’d be very lucky if you manage to move your 61.5 dish to receive 129 or 72.7 programming without losing half of your HD and local programming.
