March 25, 2010 -- Dish Network proudly announced the addition of Discovery Kids en Espanol and Discovery Familia in its Satellite TV packages. 

A large base of Latino viewers will enjoy watching the newly added Hispanic programs of Dish Network.  The introduction of Discovery Kids en Espanol and Discovery Familia is Dish’s answer to the increasing demand for Spanish language channels in the US, says Luis Silberwasser, Senior VP and GM for Discovery Networks U.S. Hispanic Group. 

Discovery Kids en Espanol is a family-oriented program that targets the younger members of the family.  Parents will appreciate their children learning Spanish as they watch the educational programs offered by the channel.  Preschoolers enhance their imaginations as they watch programs like "Harry y su Cubeta de Dinosaurios" "Milly Molly" and "Poko". 

Discovery Familia is also a family-oriented channel that features shows about the natural history, travel and cooking as well as parenting that the entire family can watch.  Some of the Satellite TV channels it carries include "Dulces Suenos" "Chef a Domicilio" and "Espacio Vital".
