AT&T U-verse customers will find a $3 to $5 increase on in their Internet, TV and Voice monthly bills effective last February 1, 2010.  The price change affects only the new customers of U-verse Internet service, as opposed to theU-verse TV increase that affects both old and new.   

The increase on U-verse TV service is said to bring more TV and HD channels as well as better options for the consumers.  Few of the AT&T U-verse pricing increase on this service are:

• The Filipino TV Package: from $21 to $25/month
• One-time activation fee: $29 for (new customers only)

Due to the price change, customers have also been having chats of their own in the AT&T U-verse forums regarding the company’s TV program price changes.  Few of the discussion include the Family and U100 going up by $5 and U200, U300 and U450 by $3..

U-verse Internet service increase, on the other hand intends “to better reflect the value of (our) broadband service in the marketplace and better align (our) pricing structure across (our) entire service footprint”, according to an AT&T spokeswoman.   Few of the price changes taking effect are:

• Express (up to 1.5Mbps): Phased out effective last Feb 21
• Pro (up to 3Mbps): from $30 to $35/month
• Elite (up to 6 Mbps): from $35 to $35/month
• Max (up to 12 Mbps): from $55 to $45/month (new customers only)
• Max plus (up to 18Mbps): from $65 to $55/month (new customers only)

U-verse Voice service also participates in the price change with its Unlimited service.  Now, customers will have the said service for $33/month for existing customers and $35/month for new ones.
