Last April 19, 2010—Dish Network became the first TV Provider to offer 200 national high definition channels in the country. Including in the full HD line-up of the nation’s fastest growing Satellite TV provider are EPIX HD, G4 HD, HLN HD, History International HD, Nat Geo Wild HD, ShortsHD, Style HD and Turner Classic Movies HD.

Dish Network’s HD consumers will enjoy this development especially those who are using The Dish’s ViP 922 SlingLoaded DVR.

According to Tom Cullen, Dish TV’s EVP of Sales, Marketing and Programming for Dish Network, although many TV Providers claim that they can offer 200 HD channels; Dish is the only company who actually delivered. Dish Network will continue to lead the industry in providing premium entertainment with channels like EPIX HD.
