You can always cancel but there almost certainly will be a cancellation fee. Read your contract on part 3 cancellation of service.
To avoid the cancellation fee, just pay the remaining months and tell the customer service to stop your service on the end of your contract. In that case, you will not pay your cancellation fee which is higher than your remaining months.
