You will not be getting a free DVR because it is a separate service.

The only free receiver that you will be getting is either 2 Standard Receivers or 1 Standard Receiver and 1 HD Receiver.

If you asked for a DVR, there is a service fee of $6 a month to get 2 DVR or 1 Standard/HD + 1 DVR.
