Direct TV offers its latest service to the public – the Whole-Home DVR Service, which allows subscribers to watch and record TV shows in up to 15 TV sets using one DVR, for only $3 per month.

The features of the Whole-Home DVR Service include:

• Access to a single combined playlist of all of the recorded programs on any connected television at home.
• DVR controls in every room which include the record, delete, pause and rewind functions.
• Stop a recorded show in one room while watching in a different room.
• Manage DVR playlist from any of the connected rooms.
• Set a separate parental control on each TV.
• Watch recorded shows in HD in any of the connected rooms.

Verizon FiOS offers a similar DVR product, the Home Media DVR which cost $19.95 per month.  The Home Media DVR includes two components: Multi-room DVR and the Media Manager.
